Sisarma Continues to Flow

Monsoon is at its IMG_0110peak in lakecity, and the charm and beauty of the city is worth watching these days with the water level of the lakes still going up.

Sisarma is flowing at 3 feet from the last two days of heavy rainfall in the region. Pichola was recorded with an increase of 6 inches, Badi with 2 feet, Udaisagar with 4 inch and Fatehsagar with 1 inch and the level of Madar touched the level of 18 feet and gates can be open at any time. The Jakham dam, T.D. Dam and Bageri ka Naka also overflowed.

Faces glowed with a smile after seeing the lakes sparkling with water. Everyone is optimistic to see an active monsoon in the following days. Hope that our major lakes like Fatehsagar, Pichola, and Badi will be brimming in the near future and continue to enchant the Udaipies and the tourists.
