More than 60 students volunteered for this noble cause to donate blood on this august occasion and were given certificates. The blood donation drive was overseen by a team of 5 doctors who came from the partnering organizations.

In total, 63 units, i.e., about 22 litres of blood was donated. The blood collected will be going to the Maharana Bhupal College (Government Hospital) in Udaipur for the aid of the needy. On this occasion, Prof. Janat Shah, Director of IIMU said, “The blood donation drive embodies the spirit of sacrifice and social responsibility which is marked by 15th August.
