In this drive, the first to get the vaccine will be the health workers and other frontline workers, followed by about people above 50 years of age and those who are considered high-risk. The city administration along with the health department has rolled out a micro plan to organize the drive.

The Four-tier Vaccination Drive in Udaipur

Sanitization – Registration – Vaccination – Observation

  • First Phase – 33,000 health workers will be vaccinated.
  • Second Phase – Police, teachers, municipal workers, administration and people in contact with the common folks will be vaccinated.
  • Third Phase – People above 50 years and the ones suffering from severe diseases will be vaccinated.
  • Fourth Phase – The common people of Udaipur will be vaccinated in the last phase.

In what will be the biggest inoculation drive in the country, the city is gearing up to begin vaccinating its population against the novel coronavirus.

  • Who will get the vaccine first?
  • How does one register for it?
  • What is the process?

We answer all your questions!

Who will get the vaccine first?

  • Phase-1: The public and private healthcare workers – doctors, nurses, medical officers, paramedics and other support staff including medical students – will first get the vaccination. Health workers from Ayurveda and Homeopathy will also be covered in this.
  • Phase-2: The frontline and municipal workers – police department, armed forces, civil defence and prison staff, disaster management department, home guard, municipal worker and revenue service personnel who are engaged in COVID-19 containment activities will be the next in line.
  • Phase-3: People above 50 years of age – This category is further subdivided into those between 50 and 60 years of age and those above 60 years.
  • Phase-4: After the above three categories are done, the remaining population will be inoculated in a staggered manner.

How to register for the vaccination?

For senior citizens, the latest electoral roll for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be used to identify them.

Others will have to self-register themselves on the CoWIN app in the later phase. A government photo identity or Adhaar card will be required for registration and identification.

After registration, a date, time and venue will be allocated for vaccination. On-the-spot registration will not be allowed.

Also, it is mandatory to carry both photo and registration ID at the vaccination centre.

What is the process of coronavirus vaccination?

Once an individual has registered on the CoWIN app, he will receive the date, time and venue for vaccination where they will assemble on the appointed day.

After the vaccine is administered, he will be kept in the observation room for 30 minutes to check for any adverse reactions. A 5 member vaccination team will overlook the process.

A person has to take two doses of the vaccine in a span of 28 days to complete the vaccination process. The protective levels of antibodies take around 15 days to develop after the second dose.

Is it mandatory to take the coronavirus vaccine?

Vaccination for COVID-19 is voluntary. However, it is advisable to receive the complete schedule of COVID-19 vaccine for protecting oneself against this disease and also to limit the spread of this disease to the close contacts including family members, friends, relatives and co-workers.

What are the side-effects of the corona vaccine?

Not only COVID, but any vaccination occasionally results in minor side effects such as body pain, mild fever, etc. Some may get mild fever and pain where they’ve been injected.

In the case of Covishield, other mild side-effects could include headache, fatigue, deep muscle pain, malaise, fever, chills and joint pain and nausea.

Mild side-effects of Covaxin include pain and swelling where injected, headache, fatigue, fever, body ache, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, dizziness-giddiness, tremor, sweating, cold and cough.

Do those who have recovered from COVID-19 need the vaccine?

Even if you’ve had COVID-19, getting the vaccine may help prevent reinfection and lower your risk of getting sick again. Since there have been examples of reinfection, a vaccine is a must for all. You should get the vaccine since it will help you develop resistance against the deadly virus.

Is it safe for cancer, diabetic or BP patients to take COVID-19 vaccine?

According to the Health Ministry, people suffering from one or more of these comorbid conditions including diabetes, high or low blood pressure or cancer etc. are considered a high-risk category. These people are advised to get COVID-19 vaccination.

A Cautionary Message to Beware of Cybercrime from Manas Trivedi of Rakshasutra Foundation

What are you supposed to do when you sit ideally at home and cannot indulge yourself with daily errands? You sit back and scroll the internet for as long as you want and use technology to its utmost capacity.

However, a lot of people are looking at technology and social media platforms as an opportunity to increase cybercrime. Cybercrime is increasing at an alarming rate, and this activity can fundamentally derail reputed financial institutions and corporates. This could result in a privacy breach of personal information as well as bring down a company’s IT system in the blink of an eye.

Rakshasutra Foundation, started by Manas Trivedi, is working vigorously to eradicate these cybercrimes and protect people and institutions from this theft. Manas is a young lad, spreading awareness about the increase of cybercrime and ways to tackle privacy breach. Cyber expert Manas started the initiative as a preventative step to fight against cybercrime. He is on the go with “Cybercrime Free Rajasthan” mission that is a training and awareness program, ongoing in various states and districts. In context to the same, Manas has offered technical tips and suggestions to Police Officers and multiple employees from all over Rajasthan. In hindsight, Manas is providing practical knowledge and insights about the prevention and detection of crimes. Under the “Cybercrime Free Rajasthan” program, novel information concerning cyberlaw has been passed on to police officers, so that they have technical knowledge about the investigation. Additionally, students in schools and colleges are instructed about the safety guidelines concerning cybercrime.

Cybercrime free rajasthan rakshasutra foundationPermission Granted in 18 districts

Founder of Rakshasutra, Manas Trivedi is offering technical advice related to cybercrime to the police as well as provide the latest information about the same.

Additional Director General (Police Technical Services), Sunil Dutt, has granted permission to Manas to spread awareness among the common population with the help of conducting Cybercrime Awareness Programme in 18 districts, namely Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Alwar, Bharatpur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Kota, Hanumangarh, Ganganagar, Tonk, Banswara, Dungarpur, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand.

Cybercrime free Rajasthan rakshasutra foundation

Manas and his team are providing training on topics such as public awareness about cybercrime, safe and secure online banking, online sexual harassment cases, safe mobile surfing, and phone call frauds. To take it further, Manas and his team will give a PowerPoint presentation and share awareness videos among the local population in all the 18 districts.

Beware of Cybercrime

According to Manas, in the current times crimes such as creating a fake Facebook account, try to gain the sympathy of others, emptying and hacking the whole account by becoming a social media friend, and taking money from bank accounts by sharing OTP, are increasing at an alarming rate. In this situation, there is a dire need to safely learn how to use the internet properly and determine its threats by identifying fake accounts. People need to be exceptionally cautious about what to post on social media and their presence online.

Apprehensiveness and Awareness is the Only Solution!

Vigilance and awareness is the key solution to stay safe from cybercrime. During and after lockdown, cybercrime has been increased to 300 per cent. An increase in cyber financial frauds such as Paytm fraud, e-commerce fraud, SIM swapping and card cloning has also taken a hike. Moreover, cases such as cyberbullying, molestation, and ID theft have significantly risen against woman and children. It is not appreciated or wise to get lured by spam calls and fraudulent messages, also don’t share excessive information on Facebook or any other social media platform.

Manas has already launched an app for the safety of women. The young man came into prominence when he launched an application named “Rakshasutra” for women’s safety. Any woman or girl who has the application can tap on the screen twice at the time of emergency, and an alarm will ring in the police control room. Through the Rakshasutra application, police can easily trace the woman’s location and can reach there as soon as possible before things get worse. The app was further acclaimed by the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Intejam App by Manas acclaimed regionally

Manas Trivedi also created an app named “Intejam” during the course of the election. The application helped identify the posting or duty of a particular police officer at the polling station. The police got significant help from the same since they had no confusion whatsoever on a specific officer’s posting.

So this is how an intimate yet splendid affair came to an end with people that matters the most!

Time for the Departure of Tollywood Actors!

Heart-filled messages were sent by the stars to show their gratitude towards the City of Lakes, Udaipur. As the wedding of Niharika Konidela and Chaitanya JV came to an end, the guests prepared to depart from Udaipur to Hyderabad on Thursday.

Kalki Raja wrote – “Time to depart, Bye-Bye Udaipur… What an amazing city.”

After a glimpse of South Indian tradition at the wedding, the Udaipurites are in utter awe to have yet another destination wedding in the city. It has been a second consecutive destination wedding in Udaipur. First was the wedding of Aksht Ranaut, younger brother of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, which was also a highlight of town for the time being.  Also, in December 2019, India’s billionaire business magnate Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani’s pre-wedding functions took place in Udaipur.

We can proudly say that Udaipur has been the most favoured destination wedding location in India and beyond!

The Story Behind Rishabh Jain’s Solo Cycling Journey from Udaipur to Vaishno Devi

Congratulations Iron man, Rishabh Jain for successfully completing a gruelling solo cycling journey from Udaipur to Vaishno Devi!

Distance travelled: 1300 km
Time: 6 Days 5 Nights
Crossed: 3 states and 5 cities

Rishabh Jain CyclistRishabh Jain Cyclist

What made it a tough ride was the elevation from Mewar to Marwar and then from Punjab to Jammu. Riding solo on an isolated highway for such a long distance not only requires physical fitness but also a strong mental determination.

Let’s know about “behind the scenes” from the desk of the champion himself:

Day 1 – Udaipur to Kishangarh

A tough 300 km something ride from Udaipur to Kishangarh!

Day 2 – Kishangarh to Shree Sardarshahar

The total distance was 257 km, and as usual, the Rajasthan road held the same challenges that were elevated roads and hot climate. Fortunately, there were stay facilities provided by the SDM City, Udaipur. Started the ride at 7:15 am and reached Sardarshar at around 6:30 pm.

Day 3 – Sardarshar to Sri Ganganagar

The total distance for covering this ride was 220 km. I left from Sardarshar at 6:00 am and reached Sri Ganganagar at 6:15 pm. Shockingly, there was a surprise welcome by Vikas Godhra, who is a business icon, showroom owner of Toyota & Mahindra, as well as a dealer of Toyota automobiles in over 60 cities. It was a grand welcome by the owner and staff members of the Toyota showroom. Also, the stay was arranged by them, which overwhelmed me.

Day 4 – Sri Ganganagar to Amritsar
After entering Punjab, border road was comparatively good with a broad highway. Although there were many ups and downs in the form of multiple fly-overs. I started from Sri Ganganagar Magar at 5:30 am and reached Amritsar by 8:00 pm. The total distance was 256 km, and there was another cyclist from Tarn Taran, Amritsar, who was waiting for my welcome. It was such a nice gesture from all the other enthusiastic riders from there. Certainly, I had a pleasurable stay at Amritsar, at one of the cyclist’s home!

Day 5 – Amritsar to Jammu (Katra)
The total distance covered here was 220 km, with an additional 40 km, making it a 260 km ride altogether.
I started the ride at 5:15 in the morning from Amritsar. A few cyclists from Amritsar and Tarn Taran rode with me for the initial 50 km. We had a delicious breakfast together. Day 5 was extremely tough, since just 60 km before reaching Jammu, there was a thunderstorm! My clothes got fully soaked from top to bottom, and it was quite challenging to ride with all the extra traffic on the roads, which were mostly submerged in water. In between all the hassle, the low temperature created further hindrance. However, I somehow managed to reach Jammu at around 7 pm. My whole body was shivering badly when I finished my ride and went to the hotel room. Thankfully the room had hot water, where I took a bath to relax somehow from the exhausting day. I completed 90% of my ride in the evening/night, and till next morning, at around 11 am, there was heavy rain in Jammu again! I was badly waiting for the rain to stop since I needed to go to Katra, which was 40 km away. So, I decided that if the rain doesn’t stop, then I will start my ride. But thankfully, the rain stopped, and I left for Katra at 11:30 am and reached there at 3 pm.

Rishabh also added, “When I started climbing for Bhawan for Darshan Mata Ji, it took me all night to go up and come back.”

Here are a few glimpses of Rishabh’s solo cycling escapade:

ACCA

ACCA is a globally recognized course offered by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK. With a simple aim to provide industry-specific training to the applicants, this foundation was created to develop finance and accounting students for meeting the industrial requirement and make them understand ACCA subjects and levels.

Initiated in 1904, ACCA has now gained global recognition with its exclusive principles of innovation, diversity, reliability, and accountability. All these values are synced with the industrial requirements, thereby ensuring to prepare accounting professionals for the business.

Although a plethora of accountancy courses are being offered worldwide, it is important to understand the difference between ACCA and CA, and what are its unique characters. Moreover, the best part about this course is that it offers a diploma certificate at every level, thereby making the students’ job ready even before completion of the entire course. Hence, the students can start working based on their cleared ACCA levels and sort out their ACCA exam dates according to suitable time and duration. After completing the second level of the ACCA qualification, the students can even apply for Graduation from Oxford Brookes University. In Fact, they can also apply for a Master’s degree from the renowned University of London after completion of the ACCA course.

Eligibility Criteria of ACCA

ACCA comes with very simple eligibility criteria that allow the applicants to pursue this course right after finishing their higher education (12th), which they can pursue along with the graduation degree (B Com/BBA/ BMS). Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria of this course:
