Arvana – Astonishing making behind the Structure

An Intact Destination for All

arvana udaipur

ARVANA” the name itself is ringing in the mind of the Udaipurites since so long. The journey of Arvana cannot be described in brief. It is the uncut saga that initiated in March 2013 and finally is up to finish in August 2016. A concept which is the fusion of business, shopping, and residential destinations is a lot more than a traditional mall. But, apart from this, what’s more, special about Arvana? Well, from the viewpoint of location, architecture, and entire land area, Arvana is something that is going to be a thrilling experience for all the people of in and around Udaipur at every visit. According to the brilliant minds behind making this concept, Mr. Hasan Paliwala, Shabbir Paliwala, and Deepak Parihar, stated that it is going to fulfill every requirement whether large or small. That’s why they have summed up the idea in a Tagline of “Milega Everything at ARVANA”.

Entrance Capsule Lift

Floor to Floor Tour

The central part that is associated with the Arvana is the location. Encore within the heart of the city it is located in the densely populated area which is the primary shopping zone for local as well foreign tourists. If you take a focused look, the structure is in L-shape in the corner region, completely Vaastu compliant and earthquake resistance. It has 6+ tiers that are dedicated to the particular sections by keeping in mind the daily needs of people.

Lobbypart

We are starting from the bottom for you all. The lower ground floor is entirely dedicated to the double basement parking which is pretty spacious for all kind of vehicles. Next, we move on to, the ground floor where it has the biggest grocery store and supermarket area for facilitating daily use articles at one stop. Then, at the next level of Arvana, there is a unique exhibition session which is mainly meant for the purpose of artists and many other people to present their artistic work under the roof in a lavish interior. And, this is something that everybody can guess won’t be available in any of the malls in Udaipur.

Food-COurt-2
Kings-Queens-Street

Reaching to the 2nd and 3rd floor, the sessions are dedicated towards all the necessities of men and women whether it’s clothing, accessories, self-grooming, etc. That’s why both the floors with 171 shops are named accordingly as Kings’ and Queen’s Street respectively. Apart from this, a particular area is dedicated for the unique yet another USP on 2nd floor i.e. Sheroes (Unit by Acid Attack Survivors). This is the biggest hangout place as well rehabilitation centre for the Acid Attack Victims regarding every help that they require.  Not only this, you can connect with them and share your experience with the music, coffee, and shows by the theater groups in the ironically designed place.

As we moved on to the 4th floor, it is the session of our most favorite zone i.e. Entertainment. The area is entirely meant for enjoyment, Food Court and Kid’s Zone within it.  For getting back to the relax mode, after a long walk throughout the floors, one can chill out here with family or friends.

And, by looking forward to the commercial and defining it as a business centre. The corporate section is provided on the 5th floor which has around 28 offices all with the panoramic view and ample space. We can call it as an ideal business location for those who are looking forward to packing their operational headquarters in the central zone that too with all the equipped facilities.

Probably, who can imagine a residential area in the shopping and business hub? But, At Arvana this is something that we can say is going to create a buzz. Residential area with 24-hours CCTV camera security, DTHM broadband service, and all the desirable modern amenities. Around 15 well-furnished apartments are built on 6th and 7th floor to maintain the limited and premier viewpoint for the ones who want to settle down in the all-rounder hub that too with luxurious touch. With the separate entrance and exit, this can be considered as the finest place to reside as well.

Lastly, a roof-top restaurant with the beautiful view that is made in such a way that it provides the sight of the both old and new city. This is kept as a surprise that which new chain of restaurant is going to arrive for the people of Udaipur but, definitely concerning location it’s going to be terrific.

Roof-Top-Restaurant

And, very soon this familiar concept of Gulf division and abroad is going to take the higher way for the city as well people who want to experience something that is constructed to satisfy its tagline amongst everyone.

Well! We guess everybody is really excited to visit Arvana. So, hold on Udaipurites as on 26th Aug 2016, we all are going to have the edifice in front of us.

Magic Space (First Co-Working Space in Udaipur)

Unfold Ability with Like Minded People

Working from home and interacting with the officials through many independent sources is quite popular amongst the people. Especially, the people who frequently travel along with their work, carry unbound values relevant to their skills and don’t want any rules and laws of a company by being in a particular space are appropriately called as the freelancers. But, for freelancers, there is no special place to sit, work and build their community. Because working from home is a big issue for 8 out of 10. That’s why roaming with the laptops in public Wi-Fi zones and working in cafés goes into their habits. For assisting this purpose two of the Engineers from Udaipur have come up with the concept of Co-Working through – “Magic Space co-working”.

Magic Space - Coworking Udaipur

What is co-working? How is it helpful?

In simple terms, if we relate to co-working with the café, it would be wrong to say because facilities and environment are entirely different. We can say it, as a style of working that involves as shared environment among the individuals. Often like an office and independent activity. If we take a look at typical office environment, co-working is usually not employed by the same organisation but, referred to others.

Identically, it is attractive for those who are work-from-home professionals, independent contractors, and the one who end up their work by travelling to isolated places. It can also be termed as a social gathering of a group of certain people, who are still working independently but share the same values and often interested in the synergy that can happen from working with individuals who value working environment in the same place with each other. If we talk about the benefits.

Magic Space - Udaipur

Freelancers and independent working persons can get help in many ways:

1. It is conducive to knowledge sharing, and different people come along at same working environment for performing several activities. Hence, one can easily share the interactive ideas and can help each other in working.

2. Provides access to new networks in the shared environment.

3. Allows several companies to tap into ideas that they would normally not have exposure to work.

4. Provides a platform that is away from home to remove the distractions and save the coffee bills as well.

5. Apart from all this, what’s more interesting, it is not a typical office that you have to work from morning to evening. You are free in your comfort hours to enter the space and let your work begin.

Magic Space

And, to give a catch on this whole concept, Magic Space (Co-Working Space) is introduced in Udaipur by Vinav Bhanawat and Pallav Nahar to unlock the opportunity for freedom to work in the liveliest and open environment.

And, moving ahead from initiation of Magic Space, more interesting thing about this working environment space is that it lets you connect with like-minded people who are independent in working and are ready to share knowledge and ability.

Not only this, Magic Space had many facilities built in it that includes:

• High-speed connectivity

• 24×7 and 365 days access

• Meeting rooms

• Collaborative fun space

• Mentorship programs

• Startup events recreational zone

• Cafeteria

• How to pitch events?

• Growth strategy sessions

• Security

• Power backup 24×7

Magic Space - 2
Magic Space – 2

So, we guess Udaipur has got something that is not only new but exciting too. For creating magic by connecting with lot many independent people through Co-working is such a lively concept.

All the best Vinav Bhanawat, Pallav Nahar, and their Magic Space, a platform for every people who like to share ideas in freestyle without being in a particular company.

Unluckily! Udaipur is in the list of World’s Most Polluted Cities.

Udaipur Amongst World’s Most Polluted Cities

By the World Health Organization’s (WHO) urban air quality database released on Thursday, Udaipur has been positioned as the 59th most contaminated city on the planet.

Four different places from Rajasthan, namely, Jodhpur (30), Jaipur (33), Kota(58) and Alwar(61) other than Udaipur; have likewise been included amongst the main 100 polluted cities on the planet as far as air-quality. These five urban communities are additionally amongst India’s main 25 most polluted cities.

via: intoday.in

98% of urban areas in low-and center pay nations with more than 1,00,000 tenants don’t meet WHO air quality rules; states the most recent report.

The rankings depend on ground estimations of yearly mean groupings of particulate matter (PM 10 and PM 2.5). Than PM 10, air contamination of PM 2.5 is connected with more genuine health implications. PM 2.5 better particulate matter causes more noteworthy harm to the respiratory framework than coarser PM 10. The essential source of data incorporates official reporting from nations to WHO, and authority national and sub-national reports and sites containing estimations of PM10 or PM2.5.

As urban air quality decays, the danger of stroke, coronary illness, lung malignancy, and constant and intense respiratory ailments including asthma, increments for the general population who live in them.

Says Dr Flavia Bustreo, WHO Assistant-Director General, Family, Women and Children’s Health, “Air pollution is a major cause of disease and death. It is good news that more cities are stepping up to monitor air quality, so when they take actions to improve it they have a benchmark. When dirty air blankets our cities the most vulnerable urban populations—the youngest, oldest and poorest—are the most impacted.”

Wish somebody in the organization pays heed so we have a solid city alongside the smart city. May be its time for “odd-even” vehicles in Udaipur as well! A more tight control on close-by industrial units may likewise be required!

1st Udaipur Food Drive concluded – The FUN of Foodies in Udaipur

Jab UB ne har foodie ko milane k liye ‘Food Drive’ organize ki, tab puri kaynat ne bhi shiddat se mausam badalne ki saajish ki…!!”

I am a Foodie

It was the “Springy-Summer evening” of May 7th, 2016, when Udaipur witnessed it’s first “Udaipur Food Drive”. And since it was an event, that was first of it’s kind, obviously the idea was nurtured and the event was successfully organized by the one and only “UdaipurBlog“.

The only thing in common between it’s participating “Foodie” members, was the passion to please their taste buds with the best of dishes, this city offers. The only exception were people like me who were more interested in meeting new people from what not professions and career courses.
Seeing the blooming list of 50 participants (that was occupied in a couple of days), I was sure that Lakecity is full of many talented heads and taste-loving tongues.

With its bright and youthful ambience, well-mannered staff, prompt service, and “Tortilla Pizza” (that made me forget all other items on the menu), OMG Food Court was the first stop of the drive and there could not have been a better start of the drive.

Following this, our next stop “Brewberry” served us with yummilicious beverages like Ice Tea and delicious Garlic Breads and Wraps, sprinkled with some amazing quotes here and there that made us love Coffee a little more!

Since the end has to be perfect, the last stop of the drive was “Chunda Palace” offering it’s antique lakeside ambience, the Royal hospitality and wide range of cuisines and mocktails.

And, not to forget, each spot was bombarded with hundreds and thousands of selfies; cell phone batteries went down by clicking pictures of beautiful faces with their mouth watering food. Here are some of the memoirs compiled for you.

Women Cabs soon to Start in Udaipur!

Lone passengers especially women are cynical when they sit inside a cab, worried till they reach their destination. Following the success models of ‘She Taxi’ in Kerala and ‘Pink-Auto’ in Jharkhand, the road transport department has embarked on a similar initiative to run all-women cab service in Udaipur. In the first phase, 50 women drivers would be trained and given license under ‘Mission Meera’, the initiative which intends not only to improve road safety but also empower women through providing jobs to them in an entirely new sector.

“Women are safe and cautious drivers and with the increased number of crimes against tourists in recent times, we are sure visitors would prefer these cabs for safety. So this soon-to-be smart city may see alert female drivers through the mission” said Dr Mannalal Rawat, the regional transport officer. The all- women taxi service may begin by the end of the month as few women are already under training, officers claim. The transport department recently organized a workshop in collaboration with the Udaipur municipal corporation and district administration wherein driving school operators agreed to extend free driving lessons to such women.

‘Mission Meera’ was envisaged by the road transport department and entrepreneur Durga Naval who runs a driving school for women in the city. Naval is the third woman in India to have been granted the HMV (heavy motor vehicle) license. Presently there are only two women in Udaipur including Naval who have commercial driving licenses.

Naval has a license to drive trucks and other HMVs while one Manju Khatri has a license for tempo driving. “ Women with underprivileged backgrounds and minimum qualification of 8th class, would be given preference” Rawat said. . The selected candidates would have to take practical and theoretical classes in driving and those who pass the mandatory written test would be granted licenses accordingly. The department would assist these ‘Meeras’ in getting placements in various taxi service providing companies to take the female sightseers for a ride in the city area. At a later stage, the ‘Meeras’ may even be assisted in getting loans to purchase cabs of their own for a startup, authorities suggested.
