Awesome Mausam in Udaipur

It was a Great Rainy Season this year for Udaipur When all our dried lakes were filled up and Overflowed. But the changing Climatic Conditions have Brought about the Monsoon again in the Winter season.

From Past few days its raining in Udaipur and Nearby regions Including Rajsamand, Dabok. Bageri ka Naka, Madaar Bada , Madaar Chota etc Lakes all have overflown again and the Water is now heading towards Fatehsagar and Other Water Sources to Be Overflown again. Today on 17th November 2010. I captured these pictures and Video of the awesome weather seen from my House. It is now Raining Heavily with Thunder in the City. 🙂

The much awaited Date for Lakecity Carnival that was somehow not declared due to the Ayodhya-Babri Masjid Verdict but after the upshot Of the Verdict and much anticipated Peace in the whole Country including Udaipur has filled every heart with joviality and liberty hence the date for The Lakecity Carnival has been declared and Finally we gonna have The Biggest Ever Event in the History of Udaipur on 10th of October. Ya all our lingering should now be ended. After all, it’s time for Fun and festivity.

“Lakecity Carnival” more or less everyone had heard about the Carnival and even will be aware about certain fact(s)about it or rather got an image in mind that how it’s gonna be. But now let us show everyone the real picture. Exactly, the time has arrived. Although from now onwards we will not say anymore that it’s gonna be a huge event in the history of Udaipur and blah blah blah  instead we will like to hear all that from you. What say??? No!!

No???  ok 50 Unique exquisitely decorated Floats of science, art, culture, dance, drama, music, television, sports, history, heritage, statehood, nationality, folklore, custom & traditions etc. And first ever Marshal Art performance by a group of several 60 people (approx.), Various Unique Performances by West Zone Culture, Fire stunts, Hot air Balloons and Kites, Various Group Dance performances including western, cultural and many more (by kids, women and other professionals), Horse & Camel display rally, skating performance & stunts and lot lot really lotsss more about Tourism, Nationality, Folklore, Customs & traditions etc. We promise you that it’s gonna be an Event to be engraved with gold or even you can say with diamonds in Udaipur’s history.

Regional Level Science Model Competition and Fair at St. Pauls

Life of success emerges out from healthy and sound competitions. Competition is the only way for the students to shake lethargy; it is only a way of life to get introduced for manly worthiness. Standard height of healthy education competition is the tonic for the promising and talented future. Considering these lines St. Paul’s School, Udaipur & Dept. of Science and Technology (DST), Udaipur organized a 2 days (i.e. on 6th & 7th October) Regional level inter-school Science Models and Teaching Aid Competition in the premises of St. Paul’s School, Udaipur.

A total of 19 renowned schools from Udaipur, Chittor, Banswara, Bhilwara & Dungarpur etc. participated in the competition. There were around 56 models from different students of the respected schools from which 5 will be selected for the next level and will be sent to Jaipur for State level competition. 5 best teachers will also be selected in the teacher’s science Conference competition.

Model

There were a number of inspiring models both working  and stationary (in chart form(s)) associated to Sources & Energy management, Ayurveda, Modern Science & Technology , electronic Devices and even a Self chargeable Battery car, water Purifier, battery backup Inverter & many new distinct & motivating models.

Since the Event is for two days only i.e. on 6th & 7th October, we recommend everyone to must visit St. Paul’s school (nr. Bhopalpura) to observe numerous Technical models and simultaneously enrich a little information about different mind graving models featured in the Competition.

Also There would be a Fair Held in the School Tomorrow on 7th October. We would like you all to Visit and Enjoy the Fair. 🙂

It is characterized mainly by decorated Floats depicting the thematic expositions from science, art, culture, dance, drama, music, television, sports, history, heritage, statehood, nationality, folklore, custom & traditions or any other aspect of life that attracts and entertains people.

About the Carnival:

 

After the enormous success of Events like Marathon Walk, DBPL Cricket Tournament, Summer Camp, Film Festivals, Teacher’s Day and DMD (Dance Mewar Dance) now, Dainik Bhaskar – India’s leading print media is Organizing Lake city Carnival.

The CARNIVAL shall comprise of 50+ exclusive and exquisitely decorated Floats depicting the widest range of thematic expositions be it from science, art, culture, dance, drama, music, television, sports, history, heritage, statehood, nationality, folklore, custom & traditions or any other aspect of life that attracts and entertains people.
