Running into the competitive life where there is a phase of confusion many times when it is about selecting a field. If you think about education, vast options are there to look for, but apart from all, more essential is to set the lookout of interest, ability and, scope. As being in the panorama where there is no proper counseling and guidance to make the career is probably not a cup of tea for the upcoming generation. It is often seen that students as well parents want to accomplish the level of global education to fulfill the educational aspect. But, due to lack of proper counseling, knowledge about the numerous fields, and how to make pre-primary approaches like competitive examinations has been the toughest part for all of them.

Mrs. Neelkamal Agrawal

Especially, for the ones who are in small towns face this issues at the higher level. As when it’s about the future everyone has to think at prior note. To resolve this major dilemma we took the expert advice by Mrs. Neelkamal Agrawal along with her partner Mr. Anupam Agrawal who have experience of 18 years. Stringed up with the head branch of IMS learning resources Pvt. Ltd. Both of them highlighted certain things that can prove to be helpful for students as well parents. When we asked them about few points they went up with firm statements this way:

Students are unaware of the process of national as well abroad studies in spite of so many sources. Why is that so, can you suggest what a student can do after 10th, 12th?

– “At the very first, students should start their career counseling right from the 10th class. As generally, when they are in the crowd of science and commerce they have limited options and fierce competition which require a pre-planned approach. If the student wants to go for engineering or medical line, or if one is looking for CA or CS, it is must take the prior career guidance. They should check their area of interest & return on time investing on any career option. Apart from this, ability, scope, and interest these 3 aspects of Career-Venn diagram should interlink together to hold up with success.”

Do we have career options apart from Medical, Engineering, CA-CS, etc.?

-“Definitely yes, the first option that students can look for is LAW as a career through CLAT & other entrance exams which will let them join top National Law Universities of India for a 5-year program. Students can start their preparation as soon as they complete their 10th class exams.

The second option available is IIM Indore IPM program & BBA/BMS/BBM programs of top brands of India like Narsee Monjee, Delhi University, Christ University, Symbiosis, etc. Most of the colleges have their eligibility test & students can grab admissions if they start preparing early with proper mentor & Guide.

The third option available to 11th /12th class students is to choose Undergraduate program outside India through SAT Exam. Most of the students & parents are unaware of the application preparation part and structure of SAT. There are a lot of parameters one has to check before preparing for abroad studies. That is why, we not only assure but provide complete guidance to interested students and parents at IMS Udaipur.”

What examinations and approach students can opt for national as well international level after their Graduation?

– “In India, There are many options even in the exams. Students who are brilliant enough intake every competitive examination like CAT, XAT, IIFT, NMAT, SNAP, CMAT, and many other. Many universities and colleges in India prefer the score of CAT. Student should look for all these options & should choose the exam wisely. Once they decide which exam to appear for, they should look for proper guidance to start their preparation so that they can get what they deserve. Students who are thinking to go for abroad studies should opt, GMAT, GRE, IELTS and TOEFL along with a good application packet that consists of extra co-curricular activities too. And, these all things should be planned earlier right from 10th, 12th and even in graduation. For this purposes, student should take the proper career guidance as one mistake can let you drop the good opportunity from hand.”

If we look at the current scenario, students seem to be quite afraid from competitive examinations even being prepared. Why that happens?

– “Whatever students we have seen till now face the fear of not attempting competitive exams like CAT instead of that they prefer CMAT which will provide them a college but, on the other side won’t make them fit for the top universities in nation. The students who are well with academics and have scored 80% – 85% still they also go for CMAT, as they have already encountered in the talks of people that CAT is tough which is the biggest issue that we have seen right now”. So, there is a need to change the mentality of the students as well parents about the examinations of CAT, CMAT, GRE, CLAT, and lots more.”
