Continuing great placement in 2015, 5 Techno NJR students have now been selected by Global IT major, Capgemini. 2015 batch students have been placed in big companies like Open Text, Cocubes, TCS, Mphasis, Hitachi, MetaCubes, VeriFone, Tata Elxsi and Triveni.

Microsoft Imagine Camp, Udaipur

Microsoft organized Imagine Camp, precursor event to Imagine Cup,world’s most prestigious student technology competition on 2nd-3rdMarch 2015 at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur. There was an amazing response to the event and 250 participants from different cities of India participated in this event. Aditya Mohan, Manager, Academic Programs and Initiatives, Microsoft presented a keynote lecture and gave a presentation on Imagine Cup and its importance. There was Idea presentation session, post lunch on day 1 and 35 teams presented their ideas. Mentors were stunned by some of the ideas and innovation of the young generation. Introduction to Microsoft Technologies was done by JagdishSasala, Microsoft Trainer.

On day 2, there was a hands-on session on Windows 8, Windows Mobile and Microsoft Azure by Jagdish Sasala and Keyur Patel, Microsoft Technologies trainers. Participant made mobile apps on Garbage Can Locator, e-Rashan, Women Safety App, Taxi App and ecommerce website.

Techno NJR Placement reaches another milestone with 6 selections by Metacube.

In the placement drive organized by Metacube in Udaipur , 15 students were shortlisted- 12 from Techno NJR, 2 from CTAE and 1 from GITS. Metacube has finally selected 6 students from Techno NJR. This year have been great for placements where Techno NJR students have been placed at companies like OpenText, HItachi, Mphasis, VeriFone, Tata Elxsi, CoCubes, TISMO at attractive packages upto Rs 6 LPA and awaiting results from TCS, Capgemini, Yash Technologies, InMobi.

Enterprise Ready Cloud Roadshow 2015 in Techno NJR

Microsoft successfully organized Enterprise Ready Cloud Roadshow 2015 on 14th of February 2015 at Techno NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur. In this one day event, various aspects of Cloud Computing and Microsoft Azure were covered by Cloud experts.

Speakers included Prabhjot Bakshi (well known trainer in Microsoft technologies) who spoke on Azure Websites and Mobile services, Gaurav Mantri (5 times Microsoft Most Valued Professional (MVP)) on Azure introduction, Prerak Kaushik (Technology enthusiast and Sr. Developer, Applied IS India Private Ltd.) on Compute options in Azure and Sanjay Pujari (Microsoft technology expert) on Azure Storage Options. There was a surprise presentation by Bobby Bakshi, 9 year old, he demonstrated the use of Azure website for ecommerce platform and how he is using it for his startup.

Placement season for 2015 batch at Techno NJR opens with grand style- 9 students selected by OpenText (Biggest IT company in Canada) at a package of Rs 4.4 lacs per annum.After aptitude, coding and HR round, 15 students from Rajasthan were selected by OpenText out of which 9 were from Techno NJR. Many congratulations to following Techno students on their grand success.
