Arvanah Mall Turns One, Celebrations Planned In A Unique Way!

This 26th August, Arvanah – The Shopping Destination turns one. The mall is celebrating its first anniversary in a fun filled and unique way. The celebrations will last till 10 days starting from 25th August to 3 September 2017. The unique way the mall is marking its completion of the first year is by decorating the floors of the mall in a theme. The theme is 7 Seven Wonders of the World! Isn’t that amazing?

Each floor of the mall will be decorated with respect to the ‘wonder’ kept on that floor. All the 7 wonders will be divided between 4 floors and adorned accordingly. The wonders will be quite large in size and are open for spectators to not only watch but click amazing selfies with. All ten days will be attended by students from different schools of Udaipur.

The Mall officially opens its decor visit from 25th August, 2017 with traditional dhol welcome and a lots of activities in the Mall. The second day – 26th August, The celebrations will start with a cake cutting ceremony after which everyone gets to experience Live Band Performance and Robotic Dance Performance with beautiful cold fire to sizzle your eye delight.

There will also be Magic Show performance for Kids on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

So don’t hold to your Home this Long Weekend – Head to Arvanah.

26th February 2017 truly became a revolutionary day with more than 1500 girls participating in the run from Fateh Sagar Pal to Rajiv Gandhi park with two checkpoints. Age ranging from 14 year old to 75 year old participated in this power run.  It was a women empowerment drive by women and for women, organized by Hurratul Maleka Taj, Founder CHICS CONNECT .

Dr. Girija Vyas, ex-central minister started the run with a flag off at 9 in the morning. Along with her many eminent names like, Kavita Joshi, sarpanch Shobhagpura, Anju Giri, Director SICPL , Sudha Bhandari and Pooja Bhandari, Heritage Girls School , Bindu Sharma, owner RNOLD GYM , Sonali Maroo and Monika Maroo, Shouryagarh Resorts and many more were present as guest of honour.

This POWER RUN was not only a run but also comprised of many activities like :

Selfie Contest – Checkpoint 1

The first gate where there was a selfie contest with a powerful women message. The girls had to use props to pose and give a strong message on women empowerment. This activity saw many beautiful pictures of these beautiful power women.

Go Green – Checkpoint 2

Girls planted money plant in bottles at the second checkpoint and decorated them with beautiful messages and designs. Go Green activity with the run to put forward a strong message about saving nature and planting more trees.

End Point – Poster Competition

End point had a series of activites including POSTER COMPETITION in which each girl had to write a message on women empowerment on the poster and 10 best posters were awarded. Examples

–          Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

–          Say NO to violence against women

–          Strong women is she who would build an empire with bricks thrown at her

–          Nari Padehgi Nari Badhegi

All the winners were awarded trophies and partners were felicitated with mementos. Dace performance by Thriller Dance Academy and Band Performance by Adhbhutt were magnificent. The function was graced by Sr. Manager Sudipto, Indian Oil Pvt. Ltd. And also by meny partners who supported like Kaniz Fatima, Arvana Mall, Meeta, Pinks and Peaches, Riya, Gold & Blush, Anju Giri and Sudha Bhanadari.

This program was a revolutionary women empowerment activity by women and for women.

1st Wordcamp Udaipur concludes

The community of WordPress came together in the City of Lakes on 28th January, 2017. Nearly 300+ attendees marked their presence in this one-day event.

Wordcamp Udaipur

WordCamp is an unofficial gathering of WordPress community members, which takes place all around the globe, one at a time. Udaipur, on 28th Jan, hosted its very first WordCamp. The event was made possible by the help of over 50 volunteers and organising team led by Puneet Sahalot.
National and International community members, developers, business owners, bloggers and enthusiasts attended an array of 22 sessions, comprised of two panel discussions. Interestingly, the WordCamp Udaipur also had the largest share of women speakers, volunteers and organising team members.
The event was scheduled between 10:30 AM to 6:20 PM which was then resumed at The Arjun Bagh, 100 ft. road for the after-party.

The attendees showered appreciation for the arrangements and the event over different social media channel. The organizing team bid adieu with a promise to organise the event again, next year.

Children’s Day Celebration by Kaahini NGO at Ranaji Restaurant

Ranaji Restaurant and Kaahini – Sharing Happiness NGO dedicated to children, which was established a year ago celebrated Children’s day (14th November) and their first anniversary at Ranaji Restaurant Fatehsagar today with amazing activities and pleasant surprises.

As per the owner of  Ranaji Restaurant- Prashant Jain, more than 100 girl children witnessed puppet show, live painting by Kashish Seth, Dance and various fun filled activities. Joy and happiness on each kid’s face depicted hardcore efforts of Kaahini team and Ankita Sarnot, founder of the organisation.
