Oorja : Spreading Happiness (The Social Assimilation Work)

All sectors of our society are entitled to equality irrespective of their physical disabilities, a society must always make efforts to make it happen. To serve this purpose, Social Work Agency Oorja Help & Healing conducted a lantern festival for the children of Deaf & Dumb School – Ambamata at Mahakaal Temple Udaipur. It was aimed at providing an opportunity to specially-abled children to take part in the activities which are normally being enjoyed by other children. During the lantern festival children got involved in blowing lanterns and flew them in the sky- Symbolic to the point that we all like same and can sky is the limit for development. The program was organized by Ms. Garima Patidar, Ms. Radhika Somani, Ms.Sonika Khanna Mr. Harshit Paliwal, Ms.garima Dahima, Ms.Priyanka Chittora, and other young & energetic members of the Oorja Udaipur Team.”Oorja : spread happinessOorja : spread happinessOorja : spread happiness

Round Table India – Flight of Fantasy

Round Table India with support of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur have put a smile on the faces of 31 children from the underprivileged background by turning their dreams of flying in an aeroplane into reality.

These 31 children were handpicked from 4 schools of udaipur: RTI Vidyaniketan Ucch Prathmik Vidyalay, Badgaon; Rasiklal M Dhariwal School, Udaipur; Rajkeeya Madhyamik Vidyalay, Badi &  Phoolchand Lodha Aadarsh Vidyalay, Dewas on the basis of their excellence in academic and co-curricular activities. The initiative aims at making these children realise that no dream is too big and the only way to turn your dreams into reality is working hard towards it. 

The 31 children along with their 4 teachers will be travelling by the 8:35 AM flight on 29th Nov 2016 from udaipur to Delhi along with Round Table India Area Chairman – Rajasthan Deepak Bhansali members of Round Table India udaipur chapter & 41’rs club: Deepesh Kothari, Pankaj Duggar, Gautam Hinger, Sourabh kothari, Dr. Pankaj Jain and Kapil Surana and will be received by Round Table India National President Manpreet Singh Raja and Area Chairman- Delhi Ashish Gupta. 

They will be hosted in Delhi by the members of Round Table India Delhi chapter. Their schedule includes lunch, dinner & sightseeing covering tourist attractions such as Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate and Parliament House culminating with Night stay at a hotel before taking the flight off to udaipur on 30th Nov 2016
Upon their arrival they will be taken to the city palace complex where they would get an opportunity to meet and interact with Maharaj Kunwar Lakshraj Singh Ji Mewar, Executive Director- HRH Hotels followed by a high tea. Furthermore they will get to visit historical monuments and learn about the history of Mewar courtesy Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation.

Children’s Day Celebration by Kaahini NGO at Ranaji Restaurant

“Children’s are always precious as they spread happiness without making a difference”. 

Ranaji Restaurant and Kaahini – Sharing Happiness NGO dedicated to children, which was established a year ago celebrated Children’s day (14th November) and their first anniversary at Ranaji Restaurant Fatehsagar today with amazing activities and pleasant surprises.

As per the owner of  Ranaji Restaurant- Prashant Jain, more than 100 girl children witnessed puppet show, live painting by Kashish Seth, Dance and various fun filled activities. Joy and happiness on each kid’s face depicted hardcore efforts of Kaahini team and Ankita Sarnot, founder of the organisation.

The founders had shared their thoughts on various rights of children keeping education on top priority along with empowering girl child.

Don’t Throw Waste Dump in Streets, Let URC (UR Creator) Collect Them

With the emergence of a smart city, the democratic movement of “Clean Udaipur Green Udaipur” was also taken in approach. And, now with the similar aim to maintain clean and hygienic areas an NGO namely URC (UR Creator) has started door to door waste collection in Lake City. The team of 5 i.e. Harshit Makkad, Manish Makkad, Jayant Kar, Deepanker Katara, and Mohit Madan initially started their services in Ward number – 17, 18, 19, 20, and 30. Now, this facility of dump collection is done free for all.

The NGO has set its vision in accordance to Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. For that purpose, they have allotted an auto rickshaw that will come to each and every house with a loud sound that rings up the song of Swachh Bharat.

Radisson Blu Udaipur.
Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa organized a blood donation camp within their hotel premises to raise social awareness amongst the society. The General Manager of the hotel Mr. Vishal Jamuar and the Owner Mrs. Swati Agrawal actively participated in the social activity and inspired and motivated the complete hotel staff for donating blood. The hotel staff in total donated 51 units of blood with the help of Saral Blood Bank.
The activity was carried out with the motive to raise awareness for blood donation and send a message to Udaipur City to step ahead for such social causes.
