Round Table India – Flight of Fantasy

Round Table India with support of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur have put a smile on the faces of 31 children from the underprivileged background by turning their dreams of flying in an aeroplane into reality.

These 31 children were handpicked from 4 schools of udaipur: RTI Vidyaniketan Ucch Prathmik Vidyalay, Badgaon; Rasiklal M Dhariwal School, Udaipur; Rajkeeya Madhyamik Vidyalay, Badi &  Phoolchand Lodha Aadarsh Vidyalay, Dewas on the basis of their excellence in academic and co-curricular activities. The initiative aims at making these children realise that no dream is too big and the only way to turn your dreams into reality is working hard towards it. 

The 31 children along with their 4 teachers will be travelling by the 8:35 AM flight on 29th Nov 2016 from udaipur to Delhi along with Round Table India Area Chairman – Rajasthan Deepak Bhansali members of Round Table India udaipur chapter & 41’rs club: Deepesh Kothari, Pankaj Duggar, Gautam Hinger, Sourabh kothari, Dr. Pankaj Jain and Kapil Surana and will be received by Round Table India National President Manpreet Singh Raja and Area Chairman- Delhi Ashish Gupta. 

They will be hosted in Delhi by the members of Round Table India Delhi chapter. Their schedule includes lunch, dinner & sightseeing covering tourist attractions such as Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate and Parliament House culminating with Night stay at a hotel before taking the flight off to udaipur on 30th Nov 2016
Upon their arrival they will be taken to the city palace complex where they would get an opportunity to meet and interact with Maharaj Kunwar Lakshraj Singh Ji Mewar, Executive Director- HRH Hotels followed by a high tea. Furthermore they will get to visit historical monuments and learn about the history of Mewar courtesy Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation.

Round Table India & Ladies Circle India presents Reflections on 12th February 2014, 7 PM onwards at MLSU Auditorium featuring the Multilinguist band Dhwani from Kolkata & Stand Up Comedian of Great Indian Laughter Challenge Fame Dr. Tushar Shah.

Dhwani is the only multi-genre and multi-lingual vocal group of India. Over the years, “Dhwani” has built its reputation for providing pure entertainment to their audiences through their breath-taking performances reinforced by striking costumes and props, magical special effects, state-of-the-art technology and extremely talented Indian and International dance troupes.

With more than 800 shows behind them today, both across India and abroad, Dhwani’s talent has touched audiences everywhere.

Their music simply pours forth…whether it is pop, disco, rock n roll, folk, multilingual, devotional, classical, western or bollywood chartbusters sung in their inimitable style.

Dr. Tushar Shah is a Medical Practioner by qualification & a Stand Up Performer at heart. He has been a stand up comedian since 1990, performing in Hindi and specializing in humorous and satirical poetry and prose.

He was the finalist of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 2. He has performed on various television channels including Star TV, Zee TV, SONY, Life OK, NDTV and Sahara. Recent performance on television was for the Indian Premier League 2012. He has toured multiple countries performing with artists like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghosal.

He hold the honour of being Probably the first hindi humorist to perform at the Royal Albert hall, London.

Round Table India under the Freedom through Education Projects focuses on infrastructure building which is aimed at promoting education for the underprivileged Freedom through Education projects, Round Table India has built 4749 Classrooms, 1729 Schools impacting 5.22 Million Children at a total outlay of Rs. 132 Crores.

Round Table India Vidhya Niketan Ucch Prathmik Vidyalaya at Badgaon, Udaipur has been built by by Udaipur Lakecity Round Table under the aegis of Round Table India. The first phase of the project is complete which consists of 5 Classrooms, 1 Store, 1 Principle Room, Drinking water facility & Separate Toilet Block for Girls & Boys. The proceeds of the fundraiser- Reflection will go towards completing the Phase 2 of this school project which will include constructing of 5 more classrooms & a Playground.
