After bringing Humanoid Nao from France, Techno India NJR Institute has now set up a new Hi Tech Virtual & Augmented Reality Lab at it’s campus in Udaipur in partnership with World’s largest Virtual Reality company Eon Reality of USA.
Eon labs are already operational in many famous universities around the globe and it is Eon’s first project in India. Techno NJR students will create applications on Eon platform. Chairman of Eon Reality Dan is coming to Udaipur on Sunday , 20th August 2017 to inaugurate Eon Lab at Techno NJR campus.
A Live Demo session of Eon lab has been scheduled at Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and industry ( UCCI) Auditorium in Madri Industrial Area from 10.30 to 2.30 pm for students and industry people. All over the world , Industries use virtual reality applications to impart skill training to their employees. This is an opportunity for industry to see live demo, understand this technology and ask Techno NJR students to develop training applications suitable for their industry.
“Digital India Summit” was organized by Microsoft on 22nd – 23rd May 2015 at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur and it was 2 days hands-on session for the students on Microsoft Technologies. The summit focused on developing applications using Windows 10, Windows Phone 8.1, Microsoft Azure and Office 365. More than 200 students participated in the summit and Microsoft Trainers Jagadish Sasala, Hardik Mistry and Romil Bheda made students learn designing, developing product and platform based solutions using Microsoft Technologies.
Students made applications based on e-commerce site, Swach Bharat Abhiyaan, blind man assistance mobile application, taxi tracking mobile application. The event was conducted under guidance of Vikrant Satsangi, Manager, Microsoft, Aditya Mohan and Prabhjot Singh Bakshi, MVP and renowned Microsoft Technology Trainer.
Piyush Javeria, Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department spoke about importance of Information Technology in Digital India, Smart Governance, smart city and socially relevant areas like healthcare, education, agriculture, women safety and thanked the participants and sponsors for the great success of the event.
Continuing great placement in 2015, 5 Techno NJR students have now been selected by Global IT major, Capgemini. 2015 batch students have been placed in big companies like Open Text, Cocubes, TCS, Mphasis, Hitachi, MetaCubes, VeriFone, Tata Elxsi and Triveni.

Microsoft organized Imagine Camp, precursor event to Imagine Cup,world’s most prestigious student technology competition on 2nd-3rdMarch 2015 at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur. There was an amazing response to the event and 250 participants from different cities of India participated in this event. Aditya Mohan, Manager, Academic Programs and Initiatives, Microsoft presented a keynote lecture and gave a presentation on Imagine Cup and its importance. There was Idea presentation session, post lunch on day 1 and 35 teams presented their ideas. Mentors were stunned by some of the ideas and innovation of the young generation. Introduction to Microsoft Technologies was done by JagdishSasala, Microsoft Trainer.
On day 2, there was a hands-on session on Windows 8, Windows Mobile and Microsoft Azure by Jagdish Sasala and Keyur Patel, Microsoft Technologies trainers. Participant made mobile apps on Garbage Can Locator, e-Rashan, Women Safety App, Taxi App and ecommerce website.
