The most awaited event of the recent times, “Udaipur World Music Festival” began on 13th of February, 2016, Sunday afternoon at Fateh Sagar Paal. The instrumental Quintent also included performances by Saskia Rao-de Haas from Netherlands along with Shubhendra Rao followed by the performance of Sharat Chandra Srivastava of India. Performances that proceeded in the afternoon were of FADIO and INSTRUMENTAL GUITAR by Carmio of Portugal and Jose Maria Gallardo Del Rey of Spain, respectively. Fatehsagar witnessed a dazzling Sunday noon. Further the evening of the musical gala held at Railway Training Ground witnessed the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje. It was marked by her that the event has the potential to be included in the yearly calendars of International and National tourists. The performances in the evening comprised an impelling Flamenco Music and Dance show given by Juanma Zurano and Tamara. Paso a dos. of Spain followed by the conduct of strikking African beat music by Dobet Gnahore from Ivory Coast. Postliminary was the overwhelming performance of the Rock Fusion Band by Raghu Dixit on lead. The audience of the gala had a terrific time enjoying and dancing to the vigorous flow of rhythms in the air making the event a cheerful success.
