A one day training workshop for CWBC (Child well being committee) Kolyari block was held at Kalyani Samagra Vikas Parishad – Kolyari. The objective of this training programme was to make the participations to understand to deal with children and to understand team behaviour & characters, motivate co-workers’ improve listening skills particularly in remote area. Mr. Gopal Bhatt, Coordinator-Education, welcomed the participants.

Mr. R.S. Dhakar, member, Child Welfare Committee, Udaipur was the resourse person. Mr. Dhakar explained the pre-primary teaching methodology which is entirely through play way methods through songs and rhymes, colourful pictorial handmade story charts. Further, he said that children are wealth of any nation, and also future of Indian growth story. Every citizen needs to ensure their childhood is healthy and well nourished and they get proper education. Mr. Dhakar also explained about the Right to Education, and role of Children Welfare Committee to the participants.
There were about thirty participants from different villages. Most of the participants appreciated the vision of such activities conducted by Kalyani Samagra Vikas Parishad which is financially supported by Child Fund India. Mr. Lalit Shukla, Education Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.

Techno NJR to host NJineeRs 2012: an Inter College Fest

Techno India NJR, one of the most reputed institutes of the city, is all geared up to host an inter college technical fest ‘N-JineeRs 2012’, the first ever of its kind, among the different engineering colleges of Udaipur. This will be a two day fest commencing from Feb 28 to Feb 29, 2012. The fest is organized by the IEEE-Computer Society Student Chapter of Techno India NJR. The fest includes various Technical and Fun events which are followed up by exciting prizes. It’s not over yet; the fest has more to deliver with a powerful performance by the rock band ‘Devine Legacy’, and an inter college cultural event consisting of solo and group dance competitions and many more performances by the students of TINJRIT and other colleges.

The chief organizers of this event, Jeseeka Mehta and Ajay Porwal, in a short conversation informed that there are 10 main events, out of which some are Technical and some Fun events. Technical events include Elektro (Robotics), Paradox (Technical Quiz), Utopia (Graphic Designing), JCDB (Java and C Debugging), Tangle (Aptitude Skills) and N-Web (Web Designing). Events like Artistry (Poster Making), Spunky (e-Gaming), Scrap-up (Best out of Waste) and Megapixel (Photography) are categorized under Fun events.

Other on the spot events like Rangoli Making, Soap Smith, Face Painting, Sketching, Ad Making and JAM are also included.

Piyush Javeria, the faculty co-ordinator said that the highlight of this event will be the performance by Udaipur’s Rock Band, ‘Devine Legacy’. The band has already gained appreciable fame in a short span of time and is currently, the talk of the town. There will be other cultural performances as well, including the inter college dance competitions, for which applications and enquiries are invited at the college campus. Students can take part in multiple events with a one time fee of just Rs. 100/- per head.

As we had already informed you about the Job Fair 2012 by Times Ascent and Maharaja Group of Colleges, Udaipur, here is a brief up of the two day event that successfully happened on 18th and 19th Feb 2012.

More than 2000 applicants applied for the Job Fair from many different colleges and institutions out of which about 100 people secured their jobs in various companies, both domestic and multinational. The analytics say that the big names too have selected many students as possible. HCL, Tech Mahindra, Intelnet and Genpact have recruited more than 25 students. Many more companies like I-YOGI, SBI Life Insurance, PCC Care, Max-New York Life Insurance, Daksh-Auto, PVR Cinemas, Bajaj Sevashram, IDBI-INTECH, Classic Hospitality, HDFC-Sales, Fusion, India-CAN,  BIRLA SUNLIFE INSURANCE,  AXIS-SALES, ARC-GATE. NANDI FOUNDATION, RELIANCE SECURITY, IFBI also gave jobs to many applicants.

Heya Udaipies, I am back with a new post now this is regarding our Udaipur’s Official NIC maintained website: udaipur.nic.in
This site is among one of the Top Results on the Keyword ‘Udaipur’ in Google.co.in. This Official site of Collectorate of Udaipur is supposed to portray Details about the statistic, education, agriculture and business of Udaipur or maybe more. 😉

Anyways it has been more than 7 years I am seeing this website with the same design, no major changes… In this long-time span, I saw a lot major changes in the way how websites in the world are created, maintained and managed; and seriously this website implies nothing. It still looks like a website of 1990’s 🙁

Even though Udaipur being the Hub of Tourism this website does not portray any good content related to Tourism. Again, that is what disappoints me the most; the official website of Udaipur has got nothing to do with TOURISM:| now here you can see the lack of interest of our government to promote tourism online. 🙁

1. Please get a ‘New Web Design’ – suiting the latest web standards other than basic HTML 🙁 . If your need some reference how a better NIC website from Rajasthan looks like, then, please check: jaipur.nic.in
2. At least focus on TOURISM – for which Udaipur is known.
3. Get some quality content associated with Udaipur and its places to visit.
4. Get a Photo Gallery of Udaipur, which shows all the important places of Udaipur.
5. Get better in terms of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) of the website. Add Meta Keywords, Meta Description in your website codes.
6. Go social, make your social presence on various websites likes Facebook or Twitter so that people can connect with you directly, share their problems and get answers to questions.

Recently, Rajasthan Patrika also made a post in Udaipur’s Edition for similar issues. I hope this time our Government of Udaipur, Collectorate and other officials will seriously listen and work over this issue and at least come up with something better. 😉

आज दिनांक 18.2.2012 को कलडवास चैम्बर आँफ कामर्स एण्ड इंडस्ट्रिज, उदयपूर की नवीन कार्यकारिणी का चुनाव निर्विरोध सम्पन्न हुआ । इसी अवसर पर नवनिर्वाचित कार्यकारिणी का शपथ ग्र्हण एंव निवर्तमान कार्यकारिणी का विदाई समारोह सी.एफ.सी भवन, आई.आई.डी. सेंटर, रिको कलडवास, उदयपुर(राज.) मे सम्पन्न हुआ ।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथी नगर विधायक एंव पूर्व गृहमंत्री राजस्थान सरकार श्री गुलाबचन्द कटारिया, अध्यक्षता ग्रामीण विधायक श्री मति सज्जन कटारा तथा विशिष्ठ
अतिथी भाजपा के प्रदेश मंत्री एंव थोक भंडार के पूर्व अध्यक्ष श्री प्रमोद सामर थे ।

कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत मनोज जोशी द्वारा माल्यार्पण तथा निवर्तमान अध्यक्ष के.के.शर्मा द्वारा शाल पहना कर सभी अतिथीयों का स्वागत के साथ हुई । स्वागत अभिनंदन की रस्म मे मतदान अधिकारी एडवोकेट श्री भूपेश पंचोली एवं सहमतदान अधिकारी श्री कमलेश शर्मा को श्री गुलाबचन्द कटारिया ने शाल पहनाया एंव स्मृति चिन्ह भेट कर अभिनंदन किया गया। कलडवास चैम्बर आँफ कामर्स एण्ड इंडस्ट्रिज के लिये पूर्व मे किये गये उत्कृष्ठ कार्यो के लिये श्री गिरीश जोशी का अभिनंदन श्री मति सज्जन कटारा ने शाल ओढा कर स्मृति चिन्ह भेट किया गया ।

चैम्बर के निवर्तमान अध्यक्ष के.के.शर्मा ने अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान हुए कार्यो का ब्यौरा प्रस्तूत करते हुए बताया की कलडवास रीको मे चैम्बर भवन के लिये प्रयास किये जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप रीको मे चैम्बर भवन हेतु जमीन प्रदान कर दी गयी है और आशा है कि नव-गठीत कार्यकारीणी जल्द ही चैम्बर भवन निर्माण हेतु सकारात्मक कदम उठायेगी । शर्मा ने अपने कार्यकाल को बैहद सफल बताया एंव निवर्तमान कार्यकारीणी का परिचय करवाते हुए विदाई भाषण दिया ।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथी के रूप मे अपने उद्बोधन मे नगर विधायक एंव पूर्व गृहमंत्री राजस्थान सरकार श्री गुलाबचन्द कटारिया ने रीको कलडवास के विकास पर हर सम्भव प्रयास कर आवश्यक कदम उठाने का आस्वासन दिया । उन्होने इस क्षेत्र के उद्दमियो को विश्वास दिलाया कि विकास की नयी रफ्तार मे इस क्षेत्र को विकसित करने के लिये वे सरकार से हर स्तर यथासंभव प्रयास करने के लिये तैयार है इस काम मे वे नगर परिषद एंव नगर विकास प्रन्यास से भी आवश्यक सहायता दिलवाने का भरपूर प्रयास करेगें ।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए ग्रामीण विधायक श्री मति सज्जन कटारा ने बताया कि वे इस विधान सभा क्षेत्र के विधायक तौर पर कई विकास कार्य करवा चुंकि है तथा आने वाले समय मे भी वे इसके लिये उद्दमियो के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिला खडी रहेगी जिससे की कलडवास रीको औधोगिक क्षेत्र उदयपूर का सबसे बडा औधोगिक बन सकें ।

मतदान अधिकारी एडवोकेट श्री भूपेश पंचोली ने नवनिर्वाचित कार्यकारीणी के निर्विरोध निर्वाचन की औपचारिक घोषणा की एंव जिसके तुरंत बाद श्री गुलाबचन्द कटारिया ने निम्न पदो पर नवनिर्वाचित कार्यकारीणी को शपथ दिलवायी :-

नवनियुक्त अध्यक्ष मनोज़ जोशी ने अपने प्रथम अध्यक्षीय उदबोधन ने बताया कि इस क्षेत्र का सम्पूर्ण विकास ही उनका मुख्य ध्येय है जिसके लिये वे कटीबद्द एंव प्रयासरत है। उनकी प्राथमिकता इस क्षेत्र को उदयपुर का बेहतरीन औधोगिक क्षेत्र के रूप मे विकसित करना है । पेट्रोल की बदती हुई कीमतों तथा क्षेत्र में उपलब्ध रोजगार के अवसरों को बेहतर बनाने के लिए इस क्षेत्र के लिये अच्छी आवगमन की सुविधा जुटाना, सार्वजनिक परिवहन की सुविधाओं को शुरू कराना जिससे इस क्षेत्र में नौकरी के शहर से तथा आसपास के गाँवों से आने वाले लोगों तथा कामगारों तथा उदयपुर नगर के बाहर से आने वालों को सस्ता एवं सुलभ यातायात साधन मिल
सके.

श्री जोशी ने उदयपुर के दोनों जन प्रतिनिधियों से यह मांग करी कि जल्द ही उदयपुर अहमदाबाद रेल मार्ग का आमान परिवर्तन का कार्य त्वरित गति से समयबद्ध सीमा में हो जिससे यहाँ के उद्यमियों को कच्छे एवं पक्के माल लादान की सुविधा उमरडा रेल स्टेशन से मिल सके, तथा बढती हुई प्रतिस्पर्धा के दौर में यहाँ के उद्यमी अपना माल देश विदेश में जल्द से जल्द भेज सके ।

उन्होंने प्रतापनगर से बलिचा तक जल्द ही फोर लेन मार्ग को समय की आवश्यकता बताया तथा यह भी जनप्रतिनिधियों से आग्रह किया कि ओद्योगिक क्षेत्र के आने वाले विस्तार को देखते हुए हिरन मगरी से उमरडा तक भी फोर लेन मार्ग जल्द ही बनाना चाहिए , तथा गीतांजलि अस्पताल के पास से गुप्तेश्वर महादेव मंदिर से कलडवास ओद्यागिक क्षेत्र में जाना वाला मार्ग भी कम से कम १२० फिट जल्द ही बनवाने से क्षेत्र के विकास में सहायता मिलेगी.

इस अवसर पर ESIC के कमिश्नर श्री जी सी दरजी भी उपस्तिथ थे तथा उन्हें यह बताया कि ESIC डिस्पेंसरी के अभाव में दुर्घटना के समय मजदूरों एवं कर्मचारियों की जान का जोखिम कम से कम हो तथा उन्हें जल्द चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध हो उसके लिए जल्द ही डिस्पेंसरी के निर्माण कार्य शुरू हो, तथा यह हो तब तक सरकार को नियुक्ति प्रदान करे हम उन्हें किराए पर डिस्पेंसरी लगाने के लिए स्थान उपलब्ध करवाने में मदद करेंगे…

Two day Workshop on writing Effective Conference Papers at Techno India NJR

Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur is conducting a two day workshop titled “Writing Effective Conference Papers,” on 18th and 19th Feb 2012 as a part of the series of ISTE-IITB workshops, sponsored by MHRD, Govt. of India, under the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT). There are no Registration fees at all, and it is funded by MHRD. There was even the facility of On the Spot registration on the first day, i-e 18th February at the Remote Center.

“There has been immense response from the participants across the Rajasthan making Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, third highest remote center in the country among 35 remote centers. TINJR always promotes enhancement of Knowledge of faculty members and this is third type of workshop that we are organizing in this series. Workshop will target to enhance the quality of papers being produced at conferences.”

The first day of the Workshop was dedicated to introduction to general technical writing, alongwith the contours and details of a technical conference paper, writing styles, alongwith some practical exercises.

The workshop will continue today also, where the topics dealt will be focusing with plagiarism, avoiding it and instead paraphrasing the technical works, as well as advanced elements of writing style.

This workshop is likely to benefit faculty members and students in academic institutions who plan to write research papers for conferences. Experienced researchers as well as those in the initial stages of research, such as M.E. and Ph.D students, have been encouraged to participate in this workshop. Excluding the on the spot registrations, 150 participants including 20 Research scholars and M-Tech students have enrolled so far and TINJRIT is proudly, the only remote center in whole of Rajasthan for the workshop.

IGCSE  की परीक्षा के प्रश्न पत्र CIE द्वारा भेजे जाऐंगें  और उनका परिणाम विश्व स्तर पर घोषित किया जाएगा।
इसी प्रकार कक्षा 6 से 8 के विद्यार्थियों को Cambridge Secondary Level -1 programme, की तैयारी करवाई जाएगी, इसे न्ज्ञ में चलने वाले KS3 पाठ्यक्रम के समान मान्यता प्राप्त है। इस पाठ्यक्रम कि विशेषता कक्षा 8 के अंत ली जाने वाली Check point परीक्षा है जो केवल 3 विषयों (अंग्रेजी, गणित एवं विज्ञान) में ली जाती है। इसका परिणाम एक डाईग्नोस्टिक परिणाम होता है, जो यह बताता है कि विद्यार्थी को भविष्य में कौन – कौन से विषय लेने चाहिए। यह परीक्षा भी CIE द्वारा करवाई जाएगी।
इन पाठ्यक्रमों मे छात्र-शिक्षक अनुपात 1ः15 ही रखने की अनुमति है ।
इन पाठ्यक्रमों को चलाने हेतु केम्ब्रिज विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा शिक्षकों को प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जाता है।
संगम स्कूल मेनेजमेंट ने यह भी बताया कि इस पाठ्यक्रम को चलाने के लिए सभी तैयारियाँ कर ली गई हैं। और 1 अप्रेल 2012 से इसे नियमित रूप से चलाया जाएगा।

दुनियाभर के पर्यटक उदयपुर क्यों आते है ?? जवाब आसान है. यूँ तो बहुत कुछ है उदयपुर में देखने, महसूस करने के लिए पर मुख्यतः यहाँ की झीलें निहारने के लिए विदेशी पर्यटक और हमारे अपने देशवासी भी बार बार उदयपुर का रुख करते है.  किन्तु आज अगर झीलों की दशा पर गौर करें तो पाएंगे कि शायद हम लोग हमारी विरासत संभाल नहीं पा रहे. मेवाड़ के महाराणाओ ने भी नहीं सोचा होगा कि उनके सपनो की कालांतर में हकीकत कुछ और होगी. अगर आप हमारी बात से इत्तेफाक नहीं रखते तो चलिए आज आपको शहर की झीलों का भ्रमण करा ही देते है.
शुरुआत करते हैं फतहसागर से. मुम्बईया बाजार में आपका स्वागत है.  आप आराम से किनारे पर बैठिये. ब्रेड पकोडे का आनंद लीजिए.. यहाँ की कुल्हड़ काफी का स्वाद स्वतः मुह में पानी ला देता है.  पर गलती से भी नीचे  झील में झाँकने की भूल मत कीजिये. आपको शहर की खूबसूरती पर पहला पैबंद नज़र आ जायेगा. जी हाँ.. इतनी गन्दगी.. पानी में इतनी काई. न तो नगर परिषद की टीम यहाँ नज़र आती है न ही झील हितैषी मंच.! वैसे आप भी कम नहीं है.. याद कीजिये, कितनी बार काफी गटकने के बाद आपने कुल्हड़ या थर्मोकोल गिलास कचरा  पात्र में डाला.. न कि झील में.. “अजी कुल्हड़ तो मिट्टी का है, पानी में मिल जायेगा...” बेहूदा जवाब नहीं है ये? आगे बढ़कर फतहसागर के ओवरफ्लो गेट को तो मत ही देखिएगा. यहाँ गन्दगी चरम पर है.

पिछोला घूमे है कभी ? सच्ची !! चलिए एक बार फिर पिछोला की परिक्रमा करते है . कितना खूबसूरत दरवाज़ा है. नाम चांदपोल. वाह ! बेहतरीन पुल. पर गलती से भी चांदपोल के ऊपर से गुज़रते वक्त दायें-बाएं पिछोला दर्शन मत कीजियेगा.. आपको मेरी कसम. अब मेरी कसम तोड़कर देख ही लिया तो थोडा दूर लेक पेलेस को देखकर अपनी शहर की खूबसूरती पर मुस्कुरा भर लीजिए, पुल से एकदम नीचे या यहाँ-वहाँ बिलकुल नहीं देखना.. वर्ना पड़ोस की मीरा काकी, शोभा भुआ घर के तमाम कपडे-लत्ते धोते वहीँ  मिल जायेगी. आप उनको पहचान लोगे, मुझे पता है. पर वो आपको देखकर भी अनदेखा कर देगी..! जैसे आपको जानती ही नहीं.  चलिए उनको कपडे धोने दीजिए. आप तब तक पानी पर तैर रही हरी हरी काई और जलकुम्भी को निहारिए.

झीलों के शहर की तीसरी प्रमुख झील स्वरुप सागर की तो बात ही मत कीजिये. पाल के नीचे लोहा बाजार में जितना कूड़ा-करकट न होगा,उतना तो झील में आपको यूँ ही देखने को मिल जायेगा. याद आया! वो मंज़र..जब झीलें भर गयी थी और इसी स्वरुप सागर के काले किवाडों से झर झर बहता सफ़ेद झक पानी देखा था. पर फ़िलहाल पानी मेरी आँखों में आ गया.. न न झील के हालात को देखकर नहीं, पास ही में एक मोटर साइकिल  रिपेयरिंग की दूकान के बाहर से उठते धुएं ने मेरी आँखों से पानी बहा ही दिया.

कुम्हारिया तालाब  और रंग सागर. क्या … मैंने ठीक से सुना नहीं…आपको नहीं पता कि ये कहाँ है ! अजी तो देर किस बात की. अम्बा माता के दर्शन करने के पश्चात वहीँ  अम्बा पोल से  अंदरूनी शहर में प्रवेश करते है (शादी की भीड़ को चीरकर अगर पहुच गए तो) तो पोल के दोनों तरह जो  दिखाई दे रहा  है, वो दरअसल झील है. ओह..याद आ गया आपको. “पर पानी कहाँ है. !” कसम है आपको भैरूजी बावजी की. ऐसा प्रश्न मत पूछिए. ये झील ही है पर देखने में झील कम और “पोलो ग्राउंड ” ज्यादा लगते है. वजह साफ़, पानी कम है और जलकुम्भी ज्यादा. चलिए अच्छा है. अतीत मे
