Get Ready for Cyclothon and Run for Nature 2012

Udaipur cyclothon

The Wildlife Wing, Forest Department, Udaipur in association with Pacific University is organizing Cyclothon and Run for Nature 2012 on the 7th of October. This is being done to sensitize the denizens of the city about the numerous benefits of cycling and running. The environmental issues including the increasing levels of pollution is something that needs immediate attention. It would require the common man’s involvement too if we are to bring about a change.

The timing for the Run and the Cyclothon has been adequately kept so as to encourage the spirit of participation and recognize the commitment for nature conservation. Anyone who participates and completes the Cyclothon or Run for Nature becomes eligible for prizes over 5 lacs. The winners will be selected through a lottery system and get to enjoy a nature retreat with their families, in case they are lucky to win.
