Udaipur’s PI Industries providing hi-tech Japanese Spray Machines to Delhi Administration

PI Foundation, the CSR arm of PI Industries Ltd., Udaipur joined hands to support local administration of Delhi in the sanitization of large areas at a brisk pace. Under the collaboration, PI Foundation is providing services of PI Industries by providing hi-tech Japanese Spray Machines for its massive sanitization drive across the city.

The machines are equipped with the ability to disinfect and sanitize large areas up to 15,000 sq. meters an hour by one machine for public places. These machines are being used in containment zones, declared as ”Red Zones”, and the high-risk zones declared as ”Orange Zones”.

DLF Foundation is supporting PI Foundation in the implementation of this initiative.

PI Industries, under its CSR arm, PI Foundation, has undertaken disinfectant spraying services initiatives in various parts of Delhi, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab.

  • Manufactured 1 lac litres of disinfectant at its production lines in Gujarat
  • Distributed PI manufactured sanitisers to 45,000 people around its plant location in Gujarat
  • Appointed mobile Medical Units to cater to 64 villages in Jambusar, Gujarat
  • Distributed free ration kits to around 5,000 underprivileged, migrant and daily-wage labourers around Gujarat location

Udaipur based PI Industries remains committed to providing help to the most vulnerable section of our society which is impacted by this pandemic and facing significant disruption to their livelihoods.

Since the company falls under the list of Essential Commodities and Services, it has reorganised its operations, curtailing operations in certain plants and shutting down others from 25 March 2020 until 15 April 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic.

to keep the global supply chain of crop protection products, the company’s formulation plants and other essential manufacturing activities are planned to be operated with all safety, security and other measures required by Government and Health advisories.

During this period all the field personnel, executives and managers will work out of their homes to provide support to all customers.
