Narayan Seva Sansthan Is Uniting Couples with Disabilities | Read More to Find Out How!

Every year Udaipur’s Narayan Seva Sansthan works for uniting couples who find solace in each other’s exceptions. Yes, we are talking about the differently abled people who are taken care and treated at Narayan Seva Sansthan each day. The society around us disregards people with disabilities, but it is the feeling of love that binds them together. They seek refuge in each other’s disabilities and hence they complete each other.

Narayan Seva does a noble work of tying the hearts of the underprivileged and disabled by marrying them in a Mass Marrying Ceremony specially designed and executed for people at Narayan Seva Sansthan.

Over the years of its establishment, Narayan Seva Sansthan has continuously arranged free of cost Mass Weddings for the differently abled and impoverished couples turning their life into a fairy tale.

This year, Sansthan’s free of cost Mass Marriage Ceremony called ‘Divyang Vivah’ is being conducted on September 8-9th in Udaipur. The Sansthan takes the responsibility to turn the lives of the differently abled and destitute into a delightful experience.

30 mass marriage ceremonies for eligible young differently abled as well as poor boys and girls have been successfully organized over the course of last 18 years. With this initiative, 1500 such couples have been tied in the lifelong knot of marriage. This year as well, they are helping 54 couples to tie the knot in Udaipur.

The Sansthan aims to create an inclusive society, where people with disabilities are accepted into the mainstream economy and social life. Every single person is special and talented and is just looking for a chance to excel and get a family started.

Narayan Seva Sansthan’s initiative and urge to make a difference will slowly and eventually can overcome the way people treat the differently abled and poor.

Now You Can Zip-line in Udaipur @Rs200!

Udaipur has so much to give to its visitors and residents!!! On 3rd August 2018, Home Minister Kataria inaugurated the “Valley of Flowers” at Chirwa, in Udaipur. 80 hectares of the Ghat section is now covered with different flowering plants sanctioned by the Ministry of Forest and Environment under the CAMPA Yojana. For all those who love that adrenaline rush can enjoy the newly constructed Zip-line in the same area.

It is quite evident that Udaipur has seen a lot of development in tourism in the recent times and ziplining is one of them. After the formation of the four-lane and Chirwa tunnel on the Udaipur-Nathdwara highway, the route of the Chirwa ‘Ghata’ was less traveled.  The route once gave the best view of the dense thicket spreading from Amberi to Chirwa. The locals, as well as tourists, were deprived of this beautiful view of the forest post construction of the tunnel.

This valley has been developed by the forest department in the form of a flowering valley, which has been the entrance of Udaipur for years. Here, you can watch birds and animals in their natural habitats from the respective viewing points, which are created with flowering plants on either side of the serpentine road.

The Home Minister has reportedly spoken about making the place a center of interest for activities like Horse Safari, study centers, floriculture and conservation of various species. Carving figures on rocks will also be seen.  Nature trails, cycling rides, cafeteria, nature view points at the four places, Interpretation Center will also be deployed.

Also, apparently there will be golf carts in the area too for sightseeing until then visitors will have to walk and enjoy the beauteous nature.

Entry fee for adults will be available at 30 rupees for adults, Rs 10 for students, 100 rupees for foreign nationals, Rs. 50 for video capturing, Video camera will be charged at Rs. 100, Hill cycle 50 rupees per hour and Zip line will be charged at Rs. 200.

There Will Be NO INTERNET in Udaipur for 2 days!!! Know Why!

To avoid fake candidates and cheating, district administration will ban internet services in Udaipur on 14th and 15th July. Rajasthan Police Constable Entrance Exam is going to get conducted at various centers in Udaipur. On these two days, internet services will not be available between 8 am to 5 pm. Considering the possibilities of irregularity at the centers, CCTV camera and jammers are installed.

These exams would be conducted in two slots on 14th and 15th July. The first slot would be from 10 am to 12 noon and the other one would be from 3 pm to 5 pm. At 24 centers in the city, around 14232 candidates will be appearing in the exam in every slot.

According to SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal “On both 14th and 15th July, internet services would be unavailable in the city. Initially, we tried to ban internet services in only those areas of the city where the centers of these exams were. But since the city has 24 exam centers, it would be difficult to ban internet in specific areas. Hence, it is possible that the internet would be unavailable in the entire district”.

Looks like this is how we are headed to become a ‘smart’ city and ‘IT’ hub. Not too much of smartness here, eh?
