Tourists and Udaipurites will soon get a chance to get a closer look at the magic of Science. A high-tech theme-based Science Museum is getting ready near Shilpgram.
The Government of India under the Ministry of Culture, along with the State Government and UIT is developing the project with a total budget of 10 crores.
The museum will have models based on different branches of Science like Physics, Math, Geography, Geology, Electronics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Communication etc.
The first phase of construction of the building is almost done. The second phase will have models based on different branches of Science.
The Science Museum can prove to be a major centre in Southern Rajasthan for learning and understanding the concepts of science in an interesting way. People from the city along with the tourist visiting the city will have a new way to learn about the latest technologies related to the subject.
The Science Centre in Udaipur will have six different types of attractions for the visitors:
- Innovation Hub
- 3D Gallery
- Open Science Models
- Fun Science Gallery
- Theme-based Science Gallery
- Sun Planetarium
Udaipur Science Museum is being developed in the directions of Mumbai’s Nehru Science Centre.
