Two Laureates from Udaipur in the NIOS Curriculum Committee

Two renowned scholars, Dr. Shrikrishna Jugnu, and Dr. Mahendra Bhanawat from Udaipur are now the members of the curriculum committee of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), a Government body.

NIOS is currently preparing a curriculum for study on folklores, folk art, etc at both school and university level nationwide. According to Mr. Kuldeep Agrawal, Director, NIOS, different folk arts, styles and literatures from western India will also be emphasized in the new syllabi. For the same reason, a conference of the committee will be held at Advent Institute, Udaipur on 28^th – 29^th May.
